Honeywell e Samsung Electronics annunciano l’accordo per la fornitura del refrigerante AZ-20®
Honeywell Fluorine Products, Europe ha annunciato la conclusione di un accordo quadriennale di assistenza a Samsung per la conversione dei sistemi di condizionamento d’aria da lei prodotti, all’utilizzo dell’AZ-20®, il refrigerante brevettato da Honeywell da impiegare nei nuovi condizionatori d’aria come alternativa al R-22, considerato lesivo dell’ozono. Oltre alla fornitura di refrigerante per la carica e la manutenzione delle apparecchiature, Honeywell offrirà la propria collaborazione per la ricerca e lo sviluppo di impianti, la conversione di stabilimenti di produzione e la formazione di tecnici addetti all’assistenza.

Collaborazione Bayer, Honeywell e Whirlpool sulla formazione in tema di ambiente, salute e sicurezza
Nell’ambito del processo di transizione verso l’utilizzo dell’agente espandente Enovate™ 3000 (HFC-245fa) negli stabilimenti di produzione di frigoriferi di Evansville, Indiana e Forth Smith, Arkansas, Whirlpool Corporation ha organizzato sessioni di formazione in tema di ambiente, salute e sicurezza per circa 260 dipendenti. Cinque sessioni sono state realizzate per ingegneri, supervisori, tecnici dell’espanso, operatori, ingegneri addetti al controllo di qualità e ai materiali e personale addetto alle questioni relative ad ambiente, salute e sicurezza.

Official inauguration and ISO certification of the Borouge petrochemical complex
On October 30, 2002, the USD 1.2 billion Borouge petrochemical complex in Ruwais in the United Arab Emirates was officially inaugurated. The day before Det Norske Veritas presented the ISO 9001:2000 certification to Borouge, who achieved the certificate in only nine months as one of the fastest companies.
