Clariant erweitert Produktionskapazitäten für Abgaskatalysatoren aufgrund wachsender globaler Nachfrage
Clariant Catalysts erweitert und verbessert seine Produktionskapazitäten für Abgaskatalysatoren, um die wachsende Nachfrage weltweit – vor allem aus China – zu erfüllen. Das Unternehmen hat kürzlich eine zusätzliche, modernisierte Produktionsanlage in Heufeld bei München in Betrieb genommen, deren neueste Technik ausschließlich der Fertigung von Abgaskatalysatoren dient. Die Produktionskapazitiät wurde erhöht um ein Volumenwachstum von 100% gegenüber 2019 zu ermöglichen. Der Standort verfügt nunmehr über zwei Anlagen auf insgesamt 1.500 m². Das Werk verfolgt eine strikte Qualitätssicherung und ist nach ISO 9001, ISO 14001 und ISO 50001 zertifiziert.

Unilever hat zusammen mit Mondi, einem weltweit führenden Verpackungs- und Papierunternehmen, ein neues hochbarrierefähiges Verpackungsmaterial auf Papierbasis für das Colman's Dry Meal Maker and Sauces-Sortiment von Unilever entwickelt. Dabei wurde der Kunststoffanteil reduziert, der Papieranteil erhöht und somit die Wiederverwertbarkeit im bestehenden britischen Papierabfallstrom sichergestellt.

Clariant’s MegaMax® 800 catalyst achieved an outstanding performance at CNOOC’s Davy methanol plant in Hainan, China
Clariant has been awarded another major contract by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) for its high-performance methanol synthesis catalyst, MegaMax 800. The Chinese oil and gas producer first used the catalyst at their Fudao plant in 2018, achieving record accumulative methanol production and plant reliability. The catalyst’s excellent performance has now resulted in its reorder which completed refilling and start-up in June 2021.
