New Clariant Liquid Additive Masterbatch Reduces Yellowing in Recycled-PET Bottles

Januar 2016 – Clariant, ein weltweit führendes Spezialchemieunternehmen, gab bekannt, dass seine beiden Produktionsstandorte Tangerang (Indonesien) und Tarragona (Spanien) über das „Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Mass Balance (MB)“-Zertifikat verfügen. Dank dieser jüngsten Zertifizierung kann Clariant nun Personal- und Home-Care-Kunden von sämtlichen Standorten im asiatisch-pazifischen Raum (APAC) und Europa (EMEA) mit palmölbasierte Inhaltsstoffe beliefern, die RSPO MB-zertifiziert sind.

Januar 2016 – Clariant, ein weltweit führendes Spezialchemieunternehmen, wurde im Rahmen des Deutschen Innovationspreises für Klima und Umwelt (IKU) 2015 für ihre innovative sunliquid-Technologie zur Herstellung von Zellulose-Ethanol aus Agrarreststoffen ausgezeichnet. Das biotechnologische Verfahren erzielte den ersten Platz in der Kategorie Prozessinnovationen und setzte sich so gegen 14 Mitbewerber durch.

Clariant legt Grundstein für neue Healthcare-Packaging-Anlage in Indien
Muttenz, 20. Januar 2016 – Clariant, ein weltweit führendes Spezialchemieunternehmen, legte heute den Grundstein für eine neue Produktionsanlage in Cuddalore (Indien). In der Anlage sollen künftig Produkte zur Feuchtigkeitsregulierung hergestellt werden, wie sie im Pharmabereich zum Einsatz kommen. Im Dezember 2015 hatte Clariant angekündigt, 10 Millionen CHF in die Anlage für Healthcare Packaging investieren zu wollen, die den wachsenden Markt für pharmazeutische Generika in Indien unterstützen wird. Die Investition erfolgt über die in Indien ansässige hundertprozentige Tochtergesellschaft von Clariant.

Clariant and CB&I to design world's largest single-train dehydrogenation unit in China
Munich, January 19, 2016 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Refinery Co. Ltd to develop an extensive propane and butane dehydrogenation unit in cooperation with CB&I. The project includes the license and engineering design of the co-processing unit, which is to be built in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China.
