Belden ermöglicht jungen Menschen einen erfolgreichen Start in das Berufsleben
Neckartenzlingen - 12. September 2014 - Belden Inc., ein weltweit führender Anbieter von Signalübertragungslösungen für unternehmenskritische Anwendungen, ermöglicht auch in diesem Jahr wieder jungen Menschen einen erfolgreichen Start in das Berufsleben: Am 8. September 2014 haben acht Nachwuchskräfte bei dem Neckartenzlinger Tochterunternehmen Hirschmann Automation and Control (HAC) eine Berufsausbildung begonnen. Drei werden in den Lehrberufen Elektroniker für Geräte und Systeme, Mechatroniker sowie Verfahrensmechaniker für Kunststoff- und Kautschuktechnik ausgebildet. Die anderen fünf absolvieren an der Dualen Hochschule Baden Württemberg die Studiengänge Angewandte Informatik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Maschinenbau.

Clariant introduces ShiftMax® 120 HCF: New HTS catalyst with essentially no hexavalent chromium
Muttenz, September 12, 2014 - Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, announced today the launch of their new ShiftMax® 120 HCF catalyst. The enhanced high temperature shift (HTS) catalyst avoids health and safety risks in ammonia and hydrogen production as it contains essentially no hexavalent chromium (Cr6+). This was tested and confirmed by the independent institute, Seibersdorf Laboratories, according to OECD test#29. ShiftMax 120 HCF is thus fully compliant with REACH Regulations of the European Community (Annex XIV to EC No 1907/2006), which will inhibit the sale of compounds containing Cr6+ beyond a very low threshold.

DYNEEMA® SUCCESSFUL TRADEMARK ACTION LEAVES NO ROOM FOR CONFUSION
The Netherlands, 11 September 2014 - DSM Dyneema, owner of the Dyneema® brand, succeeded in its action against a third party application for a Chyneema trademark. Following two years of procedures, the official trademark authorities in South Korea, Canada, EU and the USA have all accepted DSM Dyneema's opposition and rejected the application.
