CESIO 2013

The next CESIO Congress in its renewed format will convene in Barcelona at the Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona (CCIB), from 10 to 12 June 2013. This event is organised on behalf of the European Committee of Organic Surfactants and their Intermediates (CESIO), a sector group of Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council.

The theme of the congress is:

"Surfactants Today and Tomorrow – Mapping the Megatrends"

Starting in 1984, this event has been organised every four years as a scientific congress. The 8th Congress held in Vienna from 6 to 8 June 2011 offered for the first time a new format which combined a comprehensive scientific programme with extensive business convention facilities. The great and positive acceptance of this relaunch indicates that the organisers have been very successful in identifying and promoting a unique and very specific event for the surfactant value chain that meets the needs of Industry.

The 9th World Surfactant Congress and Business Convention will again offer a one-of-a-kind location to meet the relevant actors of the global surfactant industry, its suppliers and customers and the service companies.
