• First four months in 2009 saw China surpassing US in total car sales

• China is now the largest producer of powder coatings

And yet there are reasons to believe why this amazing rise and rise can continue without interruption. With maturing of paint market in China, specialisation in high value-added products will emerge as the key to profitability. Commercial success will no longer hinge on large volume but on high performance. China coatings industry will soon implement sustainable development initiatives.
