Find the most suitable architectural glass in minutes with the new online Product Selector from Guardian Glass

Bertrange, Luxembourg, November 29, 2018 – Guardian Glass Europe has launched an online Product Selector that allows customers to quickly find the most suitable Guardian Glass product for their project, whatever the application and whatever appearance or performance requirements are needed.

Using intuitive search, sort and filter options, in just a few clicks, glass processors, architects, designers and cladders can use the Guardian Glass Product Selector to easily find the most suitable glass solution for their next project. Users can quickly explore the aesthetic and functional possibilities of Guardian Glass products, while ensuring they choose a solution that also meets other important project criteria such as a building’s energy and daylighting requirements.

At the top level, the tool allows users to search for specific Guardian Glass products by name or to filter their search by selecting from a variety of project and product attributes: façade type, glazing composition, light transmission, solar factor, colour and reflection outside.

As users filter their searches via these attributes, a list of matching products appears on screen with the product(s) technical details clearly visible. These products can be quickly compared using the criteria above but also more detailed attributes such as solar factor, U-value, shading coefficient and inside reflection.

At this stage, the user can choose to sort the displayed technical information according to an even more extensive list of attributes that include, for example, whether it is possible to bend the glass, coat the glass with a ceramic print, or the recommended matching spandrel for that particular product.

After comparing the shortlist of products by their attributes, users can select the most suitable product(s) for their project and export these results as a PDF document, which can then be shared with colleagues.

The Guardian Product Selector can be accessed at https://specify-guardian-possibilities.com or via the Tools section on www.guardian-possibilities.com.

Guardian Glass will showcase its latest innovations, including a new dynamic shading solution, at BAU – Hall C3 / Stand 308 (14-19 January 2019 – Munich, Germany). For more information or to arrange a meeting with a Guardian Glass expert during the event, please visit www.guardianatbau.com.
