Syensqo wins Green Tech Award for its bio-based resin
Syensqo, a global leader in advanced materials, has been honoured with the Green Tech Award at the RACE TECH World Motorsport Symposium for its bio-based MTM® 49-3 epoxy prepreg. Developed with 30% bio-sourced monomers, MTM® 49-3 e30 maintains the same mechanical strength, glass-transition temperature (190 °C) and processability as its conventional counterpart, while offering up to 40% weight savings compared with metals.

Clariant Catalysts wins twice at Prestigious Gulf Energy Information Excellence Awards 2025
Clariant, a sustainability-focused specialty chemical company, today announced that it received two awards at the 2025 Gulf Energy Information Excellence Awards. The company won “Best Catalyst Technology” for its chromium-free HySat catalyst platform for hydrogenation processes and shared the “Best Petrochemical Technology” prize with its partner Linde for their jointly developed EDHOX Technology. Moreover, Clariant was selected as a finalist for its StyroMax UL-100 catalysts and VIVAZ services in the categories “Best Catalyst Technology” and “Best Health, Safety or Environmental Contribution (Upstream),” respectively. The award ceremony was held at a gala event on October 16, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

SONGWON Industrial Group announces Q3/2025 financial results
SONGWON Industrial Group today released its financial results for the 3rd quarter of 2025. During Q3/2025, the Group achieved consolidated sales of 258,616 million KRW, marking a -9.5% decline in revenue over sales recorded in the same quarter of the previous year of 285,779 million KRW. SONGWON reported a gross profit margin of 13.6% (Q3/2024: 17.6%) and a net profit of 1,697 million KRW.
