Husky appoints new Vice President, Service and Sales-Western Europe
Husky Injection Molding Systems SA, Dudelange, Luxembourg, has appointed Volker Neuber, 36, Vice President, Service and Sales-Western Europe, effective March 1st 2004. In his new role, Neuber is responsible for all non-PET service and sales activities in each of the countries that make up the Husky Western Europe region.
“We are very pleased to welcome Volker Neuber to our European organisation,” said David Cook, President, Husky Europe. “His appointment consolidates and strengthens our senior management team and will enable us to drive further growth in key European markets.”
In taking up his new responsibilities Volker Neuber commented: “Husky is a highly dynamic, global leader in injection moulding technology with a clear commitment to serving the plastics processing industry. I look forward to the challenges ahead and to working with an established team of successful professionals.”
Volker Neuber joins Husky from GE Plastics where most recently he was Managing Director, GE Plastics Germany. During his career at GE Plastics, which began in 1991, Neuber has held a range of positions in sales and marketing. These included Key Account Manager-Automotive and Global Account Manager-Volkswagen, progressing to Area Sales Manager-Germany South in 1999. In 2001 he relocated to The Netherlands where he had a leading position in the commercial Six Sigma Organization up to his appointment as Managing Director, GE Plastics Germany in 2002.
A German and native of the Bavarian capital, Munich, Neuber holds a degree in Economics and Computer Science from FS Würzburg Academy.
