QUADRANT TO UNVEIL RANGE OF NEW PRODUCTS AND FEATURE INNOVATIVE CUSTOMER APPLICATIONS AT K 2007

Continued improvement reflected in Quadrant’s first quarter results
Zurich, 4 May 2007, 06:30 a.m. – For the first quarter of 2007, Quadrant again reported improved results despite slight economic weakness in North America. Net sales reached CHF 215.9 million, representing an 1% growth over the comparable period in 2006, or +2% when adjusted for currency translation effects (Q1, 2006: CHF 213.6 million). Ebitda grew by 2% to CHF 29.3 million (CHF 28.8 million) while Ebit increased by 1% to CHF 21.1 million (CHF 20.9

International award for scientific papers in the field of engineering and high-performance plastics and composites
Zurich, April 28, 2005 – As a leading global manufacturer of high-performance thermoplastic materials and composites in the form of semi-finished and finished products, Quadrant is to confer for the first time an international award for outstanding academic achievement. Graduates who have received a PhD or Master’s degree in the field of «Materials and processes related to engineering and high-performance plastics and composites» between August 1, 2004, and July 31, 2005, are invited to enter. The «Quadrant Award 2005» will be conferred for two scientific papers, with prizes of EUR 15 000 (PhD level) and EUR 5 000 (Master's level).
