Ascend Performance Materials announces price increase for intermediate materials

HOUSTON – Sept. 12, 2017 – Ascend Performance Materials announced today a price increase for its nylon intermediate materials.

The price increase takes effect October 1 and includes the following materials and terms:

Hexamethylene Diamine (HMD)$0.14/lb

Adiponitrile (ADN)$0.14/lb
  • As contracts allow
  • Non-contract business – price determined on an order-by-order basis
Adipic Acid (AA)$0.05/lb
  • As contracts allow
  • Non-contract business – price determined on an order-by-order basis
